Bref, dans la famille du rock psychédélique, il y a deux grandes orientations : les héritiers de l'acid pop anglaise des 60's (Andromeda, the 13th floor, etc.) et ceux du heavy-rock, voire du doom metal (depuis l'époque Black sabbath). Coming straight out of the gates, this outing reminded me of Demonic Death Judge but ‘Welcome to the Ceremony’ adds Floydian guitar and Sabbath like percussion to the mix. To keep things entertaining and fresh, the styles and influences continue to change throughout the album. There’s even glimpses of Punk Rock and I also hear inspiration from Judas Priest. Again, an excellent album with a fusion of influences.

This album is utterly and completely fantastic. Just mind-blowing heavy psych. A shame that this band folded after this album, because it’s just so, so good. Yet another Ripple release that gets played regularly.
